Prof. Dr. Michael Ehret
Michael Ehret has been Professor of Marketing and Digitalization at the Department of Marketing at the University of Graz since 2020. He obtained his doctorate and habilitation in business administration at the Free University of Berlin. In addition to several stays as a visiting professor, he also worked for many years as an associate professor at Nottingham Trent University. His research focuses on business-to-business marketing with an emphasis on business services, service business models, service innovation and service ecosystems, with numerous publications in renowned journals such as Journal of Marketing, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business Research or Psychology and Marketing. He is also a member of several professional associations and editorial boards and has been Senior Associate Editor (Editor-in-chief) of the Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing since 2022 (2024).

- Marketing and digitalization: in particular the digitalization of buyer-seller interfaces, the Internet of things and the impact of digitalization on business models.
- Services marketing: in particular business services, digitalization and service transformation, service contract design and service theory.
- Entrepreneurial marketing: in particular marketing and business models, services, entrepreneurship ecosystems.
- Philosophy of science: in particular implications for the study of business ecosystems and research methodology in marketing, services and entrepreneurship research.
